Dev-Diary 5 — Building an AI Agent at Netguru

Today I opened pandora’s box. Development agent mentioned production agent and they started talking.
This was unexpected, as I didn’t thought it might happen. This is important lesson when creating agents, that they can start acting on their own, by mentioning each other. Fortunately (or not, depending on point of view) our code failed so they returned errors and didn’t mention again.
It was more funny as they mentioned me and Kasia Karpińska-Nowak . We’ve got like 20 pings on slack before they stopped.
Lessons learned:
- maybe agents don’t need to mention others,
- maybe agents don’t need to mention other agents,
- for sure you need emergency system to stop bots,
- read Claude 4 system card and think about redesigning system (now agents stopped, what about the future?).
